Privacy Policy

Andy is operated by Advark Tech. This policy explains what Andy collects when you use this website or the @researchandy_bot Telegram bot, where that data goes, and how to have it removed.

• Account details. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address and basic profile information. We do not receive your Google password, and Andy has no access to your Gmail, Drive, or other Google data.
• Telegram identifiers. If you connect Telegram, we store your Telegram user ID, chat ID, and username so the bot knows which account you are.
• Your searches. The topic you send, the PubMed query Andy generated from it, and when you sent it.
• Your results. The spreadsheet Andy produced, stored so you can download it again from your dashboard.
• Usage records. Number of papers returned, processing time, and the volume of AI tokens used, so we can monitor reliability and cost.

We do not ask for, and Andy has no use for, unpublished manuscripts, patient data, or other confidential research material. Please do not send any.

Andy relies on a small number of trusted third-party service providers to deliver its functionality. Depending on how you use the service, your data may be shared with providers that help us:

• Retrieve scientific literature from public research databases.
• Process your requests using AI models to analyze, summarize, and categorize research papers.
• Host the application, authenticate users, and securely store your data.
• Deliver messages through the messaging platform you use to interact with Andy.

We only share the minimum information required for these providers to perform their services on our behalf.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Any third-party providers we use are engaged solely to operate and improve the service.

Access to your data is limited to authorized team members who need it to operate, maintain, and improve Andy.

During early access, we may review usage records, including research topics you have searched for, to diagnose technical issues, provide support, prevent abuse, and monitor service performance.

We access this information only when necessary and do not use it for advertising or sell your data.

Search records and stored spreadsheets are kept until you ask us to delete them or your account is removed. Because Andy is early-access software, we may also clear stored files as the service changes — keep your own copies of anything important.

• Disconnect Telegram at any time from your dashboard; this removes the link between your Telegram and web accounts.
• Get a copy of your data, or have it deleted, by emailing andy@advark.ai. We will remove your account, search history, and stored files.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal data, including access, correction, and erasure. Contact us and we will honour them.

Access to Andy requires signing in with Google, and your stored files are only downloadable by your own signed-in account or an administrator. No online service is perfectly secure, so please do not use Andy for confidential or sensitive material.
