Terms of Use

Andy is a research assistant operated by Advark Tech. You give it a research topic, and it searches PubMed, retrieves bibliographic records and abstracts, sorts them into categories, and returns a spreadsheet. Andy is currently in early access and is provided free of charge. By using Andy — through this website or the @researchandy_bot Telegram bot — you agree to these terms.

Andy builds its search queries and assigns its categories using automated language models. Both can be wrong. A search may miss relevant papers, include irrelevant ones, or file a paper under the wrong category.

Andy is a starting point for your own reading, not a substitute for it. Verify anything you rely on against the original publication before citing it, building on it, or making a decision from it. Andy is not medical advice and must not be used to guide clinical care or diagnosis.

Bibliographic records and abstracts come from PubMed, operated by the US National Library of Medicine, through its public E-utilities API. Andy does not bypass paywalls, does not circumvent access controls, and does not download full-text articles.

Abstracts and titles remain the property of their publishers and authors. Andy reproduces them so you can screen the literature; your use of that material is subject to the publishers' own terms and to applicable copyright law.

You agree not to:

• use Andy to break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• attempt to overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to Andy, its infrastructure, or other users' data;
• resell or redistribute Andy's output as a commercial dataset product; and
• use Andy in a way that breaches the terms of the underlying services it relies on, including PubMed and Telegram.

We may suspend access that threatens the service or other users.

You sign in with Google and may connect a Telegram account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at andy@advark.ai if you believe it has been used without your permission.

Andy is early-access software. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn, and the service may be unavailable at times. We may change these terms; material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use Andy after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Keep your own copies of any results that matter to you. We do not guarantee that stored spreadsheets will be retained indefinitely.

Andy is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Advark Tech is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on Andy's output, missed literature, lost data, or service interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
