- What counts as one search?
- One search is counted when Andy successfully completes your request and delivers the organized results. Previewing or refining your request does not use a search.
- Do the five free searches renew?
- No. Every account receives five free lifetime searches.
- Do Research Pack searches expire?
- No. Your ten Research Pack searches remain available until you use them.
- What happens to my Pro searches each month?
- Your Pro allowance refreshes with 50 searches at the start of each monthly billing period.
- How does Frank retrieve PDFs?
- Frank first searches for a legally available open-access copy. If a paper requires a subscription, you can sign in using an account that already has access, such as your publisher, university, library, or institutional account. Frank can then retrieve the PDFs included in your existing access rights.
- Can Frank bypass a publisher paywall?
- No. Frank does not bypass paywalls or access controls. It can only retrieve papers that are openly available or that you are already authorized to access through your own account.
- Is Andy intended for clinical decisions?
- No. Andy supports literature discovery and first-pass screening. Researchers remain responsible for reading the original publications, evaluating study quality, and deciding how the evidence should be interpreted.
